Dutching Calculator

What if you could bet on three different teams in one match and guarantee profit if any of them wins? That’s dutching. It’s not magic, it’s math, and this calculator does it for you.

What It Does: Splits your total stake across multiple selections in the same event, calculating exactly how much to bet on each so you win the same amount regardless of which one hits. It’s like covering your bases, but scientifically.

When to Use This: Perfect for situations where you’re torn between options. Like a match where you think “it’s either going to be 2-1 or 3-1 or maybe even 4-1.” Instead of picking one, dutch them all. Or in correct score betting where you fancy three different scorelines.

How to Use It:

  1. Add a selection for each outcome you want to cover
  2. Enter the odds for each selection
  3. Enter your total budget
  4. The calculator splits your money perfectly across all selections

💡 What is Dutching? A strategy where you bet on multiple outcomes in the same event, distributing stakes so you win the same amount regardless of which selection wins.

The Beautiful Math: Let’s say you have ₦10,000 and you want to cover three correct scores: 2-1 at 8.00 odds, 1-0 at 7.00 odds, and 3-1 at 10.00 odds. The calculator might tell you: bet ₦4,000 on 2-1, bet ₦4,571 on 1-0, and bet ₦3,200 on 3-1. If ANY of these scores hits, you win the same amount.

Why This Makes Sense: Because sometimes you have strong convictions about the TYPE of result (like “this will be a low-scoring game”) but not the exact result. Instead of picking just one correct score and praying, you cover the most likely low-scoring outcomes. Better chances, same potential reward.

Real Nigerian Example: You’re betting on a Nigerian league match. You think it’s ending 1-0, 0-0, or 1-1 (because NPFL matches are like that). Odds are 5.00, 4.50, and 4.00. You have ₦5,000. Dutch it. Calculator tells you the exact splits. One of those scores happens, you’re good.

The Catch: You need good odds on multiple outcomes for this to be profitable. If all your selections have low odds, you might end up just breaking even or making tiny profit. That’s why this works better for correct scores, goal ranges, or anything with higher odds.
