Cash Management Tips

💰

Keep 30-Day Buffer

Always have 30 days of operating expenses in cash before scaling

📅

Track Payment Dates

AdSense pays around 21st. Plan major expenses after payment arrives

🔄

Reinvest Gradually

Don’t reinvest all profit at once. Scale 20-30% at a time

💳

Credit as Safety Net

Have business credit card for emergencies, but don’t rely on it

Cash Flow Health

Part 1: Your Starting Lineup (Current Position)

Enter the cold, hard numbers for right now. This is your foundation.

  • Current Cash Balance: What is in your bank account today. Be honest, not aspirational.
  • Outstanding AdSense Payment: The money you know is coming, but hasn’t landed yet. This payment arrival is a major cash-in event, so precision matters.
  • Select your Currency.

Part 2: Daily Operations: The Grind

These are the numbers that hit your account every day or month.

  • Daily Ad Spend: The average amount you pay daily to acquire traffic (Cash Out).
  • Expected Daily Revenue: The average amount of money your site generates daily from ads, sales, etc. (This is earned, but not yet paid into your bank, remember the AdSense cycle is delayed).
  • Other Monthly Expenses: Hosting, subscriptions, tools, content writers, etc. The tool averages this out weekly for the forecast.
  • Days Until AdSense Payment: Crucial input. If AdSense pays on the 21st, and today is the 6th, enter 15. This dictates when your big cash injection hits.

Part 3: Future Moves (Growth Plans)

This section helps you run a “What If” scenario.

  • Planned Budget Increase (%): The percentage you plan to boost your Daily Ad Spend by. Enter $0$ if you plan to keep spending the same.
  • Days Until Budget Increase: When do you plan to hit the gas pedal? Enter the day number, like $30$ days from now.

Step 4: Generate and Review the Results

Click “Generate Forecast” and look at the breakdown.

  • 30/60/90-Day Cash Position: These three numbers tell the story. They show your bank balance at the end of each month.
  • Weekly Cash Flow Projection: This table is your weekly truth serum.
    • The Ending Balance column is what you must watch. If it gets low, the calculator signals a Warning.
  • Cash Flow WarningsImage of a break-even chart showing total cost line intersecting with cumulative revenue line over time

: This section is the financial siren. If the calculator sees your balance dipping too low, it flags the week you might hit a cash crunch (when your money runs out before the next payment arrives).

  • Verdict: The final verdict tells you your Runway (how many days of expenses you can cover with your cash). If your runway is short, forget scaling: stabilize first. If it’s long, you are cleared for growth. That’s the signal you want.
