Asian Handicap Calculator
When Man City plays a League Two team, betting on Man City to win at 1.05 odds is pointless. Asian Handicap gives the underdog a goal advantage (or gives the favorite a goal disadvantage) to make the odds fair. This calculator shows you what you’re really betting on.
What It Does: Calculates returns based on handicap lines like -1.5, 0, +0.5, +1, etc. Shows you exactly what needs to happen for you to win, lose, or get your stake back. It explains the scenarios in plain English.
Understanding the Lines:
- Team A -1.5: They need to win by 2+ goals for you to win
- Team A 0: If they win, you win. If they draw, you get your money back. If they lose, you lose.
- Team A +0.5: They just need to avoid losing for you to win
- Team A +1: They can lose by 1 goal and you get your money back, anything better and you win
How to Use It:
- Select which team you’re backing
- Choose the handicap line
- Enter your stake
- Enter the odds
- The calculator shows you all possible scenarios and what happens to your money in each

đ Bet Analysis
Real Example: Liverpool (-1.5) vs Luton at 1.90 odds. You stake âĻ10,000. Liverpool needs to win by 2+ goals. If they win 3-0, you win âĻ19,000. If they win 1-0, you lose everything.
Why This is Powerful: Because it lets you bet on heavy favorites at decent odds. Man City at 1.05 is trash. Man City -2.5 at 2.20 is interesting. You’re not betting “will they win?” (obviously yes), you’re betting “will they smash them?” (requires analysis).
The Refund Lines: Some Asian Handicaps (like 0, -1, +1) have partial refund scenarios. If the result lands exactly on the line, you get your stake back. These are safer but have lower odds. The calculator shows you these scenarios clearly.
